What is Meditation by Design?
While many people enjoy meditation as a silent sitting practice, many other people struggle with that. Those people desire something to listen to which helps them find a quieter and more relaxed space inside themselves. This is where Meditation By Design comes in: A meditation designed just for you, created and personalized with your specific needs in mind. Your meditation may include a breathing practice, and a mind-body-sensory relaxation that works for you. And together, we explore and find the right imagery that will enhance your peace and spaciousness, connecting you to your own intuition and wisdom, imagery that has meaning for you! The process is filled with ease, delight, and a playfulness that gets you out of your head and into the powerful present-now where relaxation and possibility live.
Experience deep and joyful connection, and support your overall health and well-being with a personal meditation just for you. Meditations can also be created as a gift for a family member, a loved one or a friend in need, with their health and well-being in mind to reduce their stress and enhance their creativity and peace!
I listen to your meditation all the time. It’s the best one I have for relaxing, thank you, thank you!

How Does This Work?
You will receive 3 private sessions by Zoom or phone.
The first session is an exploration into what you love and what you would love to create. It’s a sweet dive into discovering how you most comfortably operate in the world. It’s an inquiry into why you want to meditate, what serves you, and the kind of meditation that will work best for you. This session runs one hour, and can run longer.
In the second session, we review and refine the meditation created for you. You will experience the meditation to ensure that what is created specifically for you will work.
Next, your meditation is professionally recorded to get you the best possible rendition.
The third session is a follow-up and check-in to recap and explore what further needs can be addressed.
Designing what is right for you consists of a fun and gentle, creative and collaborative process of Appreciative Inquiry that is relaxing and uplifting. Our time together is focused on what you would love to create in your life, and that which moves you in the direction of what gives you energy: your dreams, desires and goals, and how you find deep relaxation and peace in your everyday life.
People have found it to be a calming and energizing experience. You will find it creative, affirming, and peaceful all at the same time.
Steve’s Story
Steve* was going on interviews looking for his next executive position where he could do the work he loved. But during the interviews, his nerves were getting in the way. He was stressed. In our initial session together, I asked him all sorts of questions about what he loved in life. This isn’t a mechanical asking of questions. There is no list I have in front of me. I follow the person in front of me. it’s a sincere inquiry and collaborative exploration into your interests, your talents and your gifts to discover the crossroads and intersection points between where you are in your life, what you love, and what you would love to create.
At some point, Steve told me he loved sailing. I asked him more about that. He was animated in sharing his story and love for sailing. I thought to myself, “Ah, sailing is exactly what he needs to ace his interviews.” For when he was out on a boat, he was master of his ship, but not in control of the water or waves. When he went into an office for an interview, he was master of what was in his briefcase, but he was not in control of whether the secretary had a good morning or a bad cup of coffee. Steve was in charge of what he ate for breakfast but not in control of the corporation’s climate. From this seed of sailing his meditation was created.
Steve’s interviews and enjoyment of his interview process immediately and exponentially improved, and he found a way into deeper relaxation.

Are You An Executive Player Secretly Trying to Catch a Break?
Do you want your employees to be creative and alert with a high morale—or do you want your own Executive Self to come to the table excited while also remaining calmly centered. How? There are two ways to do this. First, through relaxation and meditation and by capitalizing on your own inquisitive nature. Huh? Let’s start with meditation and relaxation first.
While you may think you don’t have time for rest or relaxation and meditation, when you are rested, you get more time! Huh? Yes, because you are not frazzled and splayed in your thinking. You may think rest or meditation is for the birds, a waste, an indulgence, or even a laziness, or for someone at some far end of the earth sitting cross-legged eating granola in a cave in India Omming. But what I have seen is that meditation-relaxations that center on your peace, is a way to care for yourself. And it’s in every industry now. From corporations to the self-care industry, to education and entertainment, you will find break-rooms for silence and rest. You will find meditation programs for employees, or you will peek through the office window of some executive who has secretly loosened his tie, or taken off her heels, to close the door and put their feet up on the desk – to take a break! To rest. For when you are rested and feeling peaceful, you can better capitalize on your own inquisitive nature. Huh?
How do you do this? By asking yourself or your employees the right questions, you generate ideas and creativity not formerly seen. Through right brain practices and appreciate inquiry questions, you enhance and promote the strength and confidence already inside your team or yourself, that is simply waiting for activation, to be able to move in the direction of energy with creativity and peace, all at the same time.
For peace is an active force for good. It is foundational for the creative thinking you need to fly in your field. Whether for yourself or your team, when working with your strengths from a relaxed awareness, focused and alert, you and your team’s field of vision expands. Then, you will be able to make practical and intuitive connections for how to move towards the vision that is coming into your view. This will increase morale and generate enthusiasm. And that’s something to move towards! And that’s what I accomplish and do for you or your team! To learn more, please visit: elizabethwelles.com/oasis
